Welcome to Disturbia True Crime, where truth is stranger than fiction.
My name is Shero and my passion for true crime journalism was birthed from my own horrific experience. In the summer of 2017 I was chased by two men in the dark early morning hours on my way to work. I escaped and was able to provide a detailed description to law enforcement.
Just hours later that same day, one of the men fitting the same description attempted to rape a jogger at knifepoint before he was run off by a passerby. The jogger said the man threatened to kill her. Once the sketch was released along with a description of the vehicle, I realized he was one of the two men that chased me earlier that morning. The one who attacked the jogger was arrested just two months later. I’ll never forget how close I came to something so dark and twisted. I thank God that me and the other young lady were able to get away safely. This platform is how I pay it forward.
Together we’ll dive into the world of true crime, uncovering the darkest stories from around the world. From missing persons and unsolved mysteries to the shocking crimes that have slipped through the cracks, I am committed to bringing you well-researched content that explores both the psychology behind the criminals and the impact on the victims and their loved ones.
My goal is not just to retell the disturbing details, but to provide a respectful and thoughtful perspective on the cases that have shaped history, affected communities, and captured the public’s outrage.
I believe in thorough investigating, ethical reporting, and engaging storytelling that offers a fresh look at cases you thought you knew. Whether you’re a true crime enthusiast, investigator, or simply have a curiosity of human behavior, this platform is for you.
I invite you to join this community as we navigate the twisted world of true crime in this land of DISTURBIA.
